Keegan & Pennykid and SCVO (the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations) have been working together since 1997 when our Encompass Insurance policy for Charities and Voluntary Organisations was launched. SCVO is the umbrella body for voluntary organisations in Scotland.
For more than 50 years SCVO has worked through its membership, their elected representatives and its staff to pursue their mission:
- to support people to take voluntary action to help themselves and others, and to bring about social change.
SCVO provides information and advice to voluntary organisations and to others not working in the voluntary sector but wishing to find out more about the sector and its activities through publications, Third Force News magazine, the SCVO Information Service Website, training and other events.
