Keegan & Pennykid will participate in the Cycle GB 2016 to raise awareness and funds for two charities that are very close to their hearts.  The two charities in question are SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health), and the Benenden Charitable Trust.

SAMH provides community based services for over 3000 people across Scotland, offering support, training and recovery for those experiencing mental health problems, addictions, homelessness and other forms of social exclusion.

BENENDEN CHARITABLE TRUST provides general grants to relieve financial hardship in periods of illness, helps with treatment not available on the NHS or through Benenden membership and provides specialist equipment and disability aids.

The Cycle GB 2016 event will be in two stages: stage 1 starting in Glasgow and finishing in York; stage 2 will be from York to Benenden 600 miles in total.

June Pennykid and John Suttie both members of staff at Keegan & Pennykid, and both novice cyclists will be the two representatives from Keegan & Pennykid in the first stage of the cycle. If you would like to sponsor June and John and see some short videos of some of the other rider profiles please follow the link below to the just giving page. Every donation for Cycle GB 2016 will be very much appreciated for two fantastic charities.
