Loss of No Claims Discount and/or Payment of Excess Protection

Employees and Volunteers often use their private cars while carrying out their duties on behalf of the organisation. In doing so they run the risk of losing No Claims Discount and/or paying a policy excess should they be involved in an accident.

This cover offers protection by means of compensating the employee or volunteer on the following basis:

Cover is personal to the individual employee or volunteer and is not transferable

The insurance does NOT cover loss of or reduction in bonus or payment of contributions arising from accidents to motor vehicles occurring otherwise than in the course of the activites/business of the Insured

Trustees Indemnity Insurance

All recognised charities will have trustees. Trustees have control and management of the administration of the charity and are responsible to their public beneficiaries. In this capacity a trustee will be liable to make good any losses suffered as a result of his or her own act of omission and those of his or her fellow trustees.

With this policy cover in force trustees (other than trust corporations) are indemnified for damages and legal expenses for which they are legally liable in capacity of trustee, committee member, director or officer by reason of any "wrongful" act that they commit in that capacity such as breach of duty or breach of trust.

If the charity is obliged to indemnify a trustee or director the charity can in turn obtain reimbursement. The following limits apply:
