The London Voluntary Service Council provides support services to voluntary organisations in London and serves as a collective voice on the issues that affect its members.
In its role, LVSC helps voluntary organisations to understand the complexities of working in London in the 21st century. Voluntary organisations are sometimes the only mouthpiece for marginalised groups, so LVSC works to ensure that the views of such organisations are listened to.
In its work, LVSC targets co-ordinating and support services, councils for voluntary service, organisations which have no umbrella groups of their own, black and minority ethnic groups and other groups that experience discrimination.
LVSC also provides high quality information and advice to voluntary organisations, through its publications, Voluntary Voice magazine, training courses, events and other services. For contact details of all the services provided by LVSC see below.
